Five people know the admin password
Our fix. Personal logins for each engineer, credentials kept in an encrypted vault you hold a key to, and a log showing who connected and when.
Try a quick test: ask around your company who holds the server admin password, when patches were last installed and when a backup was last restored. If the answers are slow to come or do not match, your systems are running on momentum. Apply makes sure they stop relying on luck: servers, user directory, Microsoft 365 identities and virtual machines, all administered remotely through personal logins, with every change on record.
From the laptop that takes five minutes to boot to the host carrying every server you own. Each can be bought on its own or as part of a support plan.
Finding out why a machine is slow, removing malware and software nobody meant to install, and setting Defender up properly. It often saves buying new hardware.
Windows Server and Linux on your premises, in a data centre or in the cloud: documented roles, patching in a fixed slot, databases kept healthy and alerts routed to a named engineer.
A single login for each employee, MFA everywhere, conditional access and rights assigned through groups. Leavers are locked out on the day, in step with HR.
Hyper-V, VMware or Proxmox chosen with the three-year cost in view, physical servers migrated, and replication proven by switching a host off on purpose.
None of these causes an outage today. Each of them turns up sooner or later in the write-up of a serious incident. And every one can be fixed remotely within a few weeks.
Our fix. Personal logins for each engineer, credentials kept in an encrypted vault you hold a key to, and a log showing who connected and when.
Our fix. A fixed window agreed with you and kept clear of month-end close, a test group that goes first and a clear route back if something breaks.
Our fix. Alerts on space, load and stopped services that reach an engineer while there is still time to act, not on the morning the ERP stops saving invoices.
Our fix. A thorough first clean-up, then a quarterly review in which each manager confirms who can reach what in their area.
Our fix. Test restores at the interval set in the contract, of a single file or a whole server, noting how long it takes before people can work again.
Remote desktop exposed to the internet remains one of the most common ways ransomware gets into small firms. It is usually there because someone opened it “just for a moment” to work from home and nobody closed it again. Our first review hunts for exactly that: exposed ports, accounts without a second factor and systems out of support. Whatever turns up is fixed first, ahead of any showier improvements.
Not much: a contact person who knows the business, a list of the servers and services you believe you have, and a first way in, usually a VPN we set up together. With that we inventory the network and servers, and within days we are working from facts rather than guesses. If the previous provider left no documentation, we rebuild it ourselves.
Our monitoring flags the failing drive, we pin down the precise replacement and open a warranty case with the vendor. Fitting it falls to the vendor's field technician, the data centre team or one of your colleagues armed with our step-by-step photos. An engineer stays on video while it happens and afterwards watches the array rebuild until it is healthy.
Yes. A VPS, a dedicated server or machines in Azure or AWS are all fine: we work within your own account and control panel, and nothing moves unless it needs to. All we ask is that the hosting contract stays in your company's name and that you grant us delegated user access.
We cover both, and most companies need exactly that mix: identities and group policy on the Microsoft side, while the website, PrestaShop store or database runs on Debian or Ubuntu. Having one team cover both avoids the familiar “that is the Linux people's problem” when the fault lies right between them.
Yes. For businesses, one-off work is billed at €75 per hour + VAT, or at a fixed price where the scope is clear, such as migrating a server or clearing out tenant accounts. For individuals, a remote session costs from €49 incl. VAT; write to support@apply.es.
Let us know how many servers you have, where they run and who looks after them today. We will review it and tell you where we would start.

Expect an answer within one working day. A reported fault that has halted your team is handled first.
