Metrics glossary
What “sale”, “margin”, “active customer” or “days to collect” mean in your company, written down and approved by management and accounts before anything is built.
You need a warehouse once your numbers are scattered across several systems and someone rebuilds the same spreadsheet by hand each month. It is not a substitute for a3ERP, Sage 50 or the PrestaShop admin. It copies data out of them, standardises it, stores it centrally and keeps history. Dashboards then read from that single copy, and sales, finance and marketing stop quarrelling over whose figure is right.
A useful warehouse for a Spanish SME does not need multinational architecture. It needs dependable connectors, a calendar that understands VAT and sales seasons, and totals that agree with your accountant.

API or scheduled export from a3ERP, Holded, Odoo or Business Central; the PrestaShop webservice or WooCommerce and Shopify APIs; Amazon Seller Central and Miravia reports; Google Ads and Meta; Excel from SharePoint.
A date table with bank holidays, tax quarters and seasons such as the January sales or Black Friday, plus VAT and IGIC in separate columns, so periods compare fairly.
Managed PostgreSQL at OVHcloud, IONOS or Arsys, or in the AWS region in Aragon or the Azure region in Madrid, always in accounts owned by your company.
dbt models with automated tests; if a load fails or a total goes out of range, an email alert goes out and dashboards show the date of the last good data.
Only what analysis needs reaches the warehouse; names and emails are pseudonymised where not required and access follows roles.
Power BI or Metabase views requested by each department, readable on a phone, with sign-in tied to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts.
It starts with one source and one report. Everything else is added once that first report is actually used in meetings.
Two hours with management and accounts to write the ten questions the warehouse must answer, plus the metrics glossary.
A first load from the ERP alone and one report reconciled with the books before going further.
The remaining sources are added one by one, each with its own tests and reconciliation.
Training for one or two of your people and, if you wish, monthly upkeep of the loads.
The dashboard people trust is the one that agrees with the accounts to the cent. Show March at €412,000 when the accountant has €405,000 and the tool will be ignored from then on, even if the whole gap is one credit note dated on the 1st. Reconciliation therefore gets as much time as design, and each explanation is written into the model documentation.
With one system and a few questions, a direct link to a3ERP or Sage works for a while. Add a shop, two marketplaces and ad platforms, and every report performs the same joins differently until the totals disagree. A warehouse does those joins once for everybody.
The named person gets an alert, dashboards state how current they are and the load retries. Nobody makes decisions on yesterday's data believing it is today's.
Only what is essential. Analysing sales by region or customer type needs neither names nor email addresses, so those are pseudonymised. Our access is covered by a data processing agreement.
Power BI is charged per user who publishes or views, depending on the plan; Metabase can run in its free edition on your own server. Hosting depends on volume. Current prices go into the quote, split into fixed and variable. The build is fixed-price or €75 per hour + VAT up to a cap.
Yes. Everything is documented in your company's repository and we train whoever takes it over. If you would rather not deal with the loads, they can stay with us for a monthly fee.
Say which reports are assembled manually at present and where the figures originate. We deliver a first dashboard and tie it out against your own numbers.
