Dedicated development teams

A company selling software to veterinary clinics has customers waiting for features promised months ago, two job adverts open since spring and a technical lead who has run out of things to postpone. It does not need anyone to design its product; it knows exactly what it wants. It needs people who can code in its stack and get going without three months of settling in. That is what a dedicated team is for. Apply recruits the professionals, vouches for their level and organises their work, leave and cover; your company decides what gets built and in which order. The team works remotely in your repository, on your tickets and in your meetings, and billing is monthly for the time actually worked.

What falls within the scope of this service

What Apply brings and what your company brings. Getting this split clear at the start heads off most problems.

Pin down the details with one of our engineers

Available profiles

Back-end development in PHP, Python, Java or .NET; front-end in React or Vue; apps in Flutter, Swift or Kotlin; manual and automation testers; business analysts who write user stories.

Selection through your filter

We put forward candidates with proven experience in your technology. Your tech lead interviews them and can set a test. If nobody convinces you, we keep searching at no charge.

Plugged into your tooling

Accounts on your GitHub or GitLab, Jira or Azure DevOps, Slack or Teams. The team follows your branching model, your code reviews and your definition of done.

Organising the work

Apply handles schedules, holidays, training and cover for its people. You set product goals and priorities through the contact person you nominate.

Scaling up and down

Extra hands ahead of a launch or peak season, fewer in quiet months, always within the notice periods in the contract.

Knowledge on record

Technical decisions, configuration and quirks of the codebase get written into your wiki, not left in one person's memory.

Confidentiality and rights

Each professional signs a confidentiality undertaking, and the contract assigns the exploitation rights to everything developed to your company.

How the engagement unfolds, one stage at a time

For common profiles we can introduce candidates within days. Rarer technologies take longer, and we tell you so before we begin.

01

Brief

Technologies, seniority, expected tasks, overlapping hours, language and likely duration. That is what the quote is built on.

02

Introductions and interviews

Shortlisted profiles, interviews with your team and final approval before any invoicing starts.

03

First weeks

Two-factor access, reading through the code, small starter tasks and a joint review of the start-up at the end of month one.

04

Ongoing review

A monthly meeting on quality, pace and team adjustments. If someone is not a fit, they are replaced with a tidy handover.

Without a named contact at your company, the team is working blind. Someone has to order the backlog, answer business questions the same day and sign off what is delivered. If nobody has that time right now, you would do better commissioning a fixed-outcome project than paying for a team that will sit waiting for instructions.

Common questions

In Spain, Article 43 of the Workers' Statute restricts one company lending its staff to another. That is why the service is set up as a provision of services: your company sets product goals and priorities, while Apply recruits, organises, replaces and answers for the work of its professionals. We recommend an employment lawyer reads the contract before you sign.

We quote on profile, seniority, weekly hours and duration. There is no single published rate, because a part-time tester for three months and a senior developer for two years are very different engagements. Invoices are monthly and reflect the real hours.

We agree a block of shared hours within Spanish time, Monday to Friday, for stand-ups and questions. Outside that block the team can carry on with tasks that do not need an instant answer.

Team members work on managed machines with encrypted drives and two-factor sign-in, and see only what they need. If the work touches personal data, we sign a data processing agreement under the GDPR and the activity is added to your records.

That is covered in the contract. There are reasonable arrangements for a person to join your staff if both sides want it; we write them down at the start so it causes no friction later.

Let's strengthen your team
